BreedWise

BreedWise is the equine breeding log built for working horse breeders — not a generic livestock app adapted for horses. Every screen is designed around mare reproductive cycles, stallion breeding records, and foal tracking, so you spend less time managing the app and more time in the barn. BUILT FOR THE BREEDING SHED Log daily ultrasound exams with structured fields for follicle size, edema grade, uterine tone, and fluid presence. The daily log wizard walks you through each scan step by step and flags flush follow-ups automatically when fluid is detected. Record multiple checks per mare per day — essential during peak follicle growth when you're scanning morning and afternoon. FULL MARE REPRODUCTIVE RECORDS Every mare has her own profile with swipeable tabs covering the full reproductive cycle: • Daily logs with ovary and uterine exam data • Breeding records (live cover, cooled, and frozen AI) • Pregnancy checks with days post-ovulation and estimated due dates • Foaling records with outcome tracking • Foal profiles with milestone checklists (stood, nursed, IgG tested, and more) • Medications log STALLION RECORDS & FROZEN SEMEN INVENTORY Track stallion breeding history alongside frozen semen inventory. Each semen batch stores collection date, motility, concentration, straw count, volume, and storage location. The collection wizard guides you through fresh, cooled, and frozen evaluations. Straw counts are tracked at the batch level so you always know what inventory remains. TASKS & FOLLOW-UP REMINDERS BreedWise generates tasks automatically. Breeding a mare creates a pregnancy-check follow-up in the task list. Add manual reminders for any mare or stallion. The home screen shows open tasks and routes you directly to the right form when you tap one — no hunting through menus. DESIGNED TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY • Fully offline — all data lives on your device, no account required • Configurable 12h or 24h time display • Breeding event detail view for a complete record at a glance • Breeding and collection timestamps for a clear audit trail • Sticky follow-up action bar after daily logs so your next step is one tap away WHO USES BREEDWISE Warmblood, Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, and sport horse breeders managing their own mares. Embryo transfer programs tracking multiple recipients. Stallion owners recording outside-mare services. Breeding managers at small private farms who need accurate records without a full farm-management subscription. Your horses' reproductive history is too important to trust to spreadsheets or paper. BreedWise keeps it organized, on your phone, and always with you.
