Decide where every tower belongs, manage your in-run economy, combine combat and support towers, and use elemental matchups to survive enemy waves. The game itself is the same in both modes - online adds the competitive statistics, rankings and leaderboard functionality. There are 6 enemy types - Biota, Earth, Energy, Fire, Chaos and Void - and every combat tower deals bonus damage against a matching type. Use 10 combat towers and 4 support towers with aura effects, choose tower perks and make the right decisions for the situation. A level 7 perk lets you choose one of few upgrades. Top players each season earn trophy avatars for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Thousands of ranked games are played each season. New seasonal mechanics can include mysterious portals that you can inspect to discover what is inside. PvP is in active development.
