Flow Search: Search Bar Widget

🔍 Search bar widget, search widget and app search for Android Flow Search puts a customisable search bar on your home screen and lets you decide how it looks and what it does. Choose the colour, size, style and buttons, then search the web, your apps, contacts and files from that one bar. If your Google search bar went missing, or you never liked the one your launcher gave you, this is a replacement you control. Key Features: 🔎 One Bar For Everything: Type once to search web suggestions, installed apps, contacts and Android settings together. 📂 Search Your Files and Documents: Find any file on your phone by name and open it from the bar: PDFs, downloads, spreadsheets, documents and photos. Device-wide file search is core to Flow Search and needs Android's All files access permission, which the app asks you to turn on under Special app access. 🎨 Design Your Own Search Bar: Pick any colour, set the transparency, blur what sits behind it and switch between Material and Lumen styling. 📐 Four Widget Sizes: Add a 4x1, 5x1, 4x2 or 5x2 widget and resize it with your launcher's handles. 🎛️ 39 Widget Buttons: Choose up to 10 to sit beside the search field, across search, navigation, capture, media, utilities and device controls. 🌐 13 Search Engines: Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Swisscows, MetaGer, Mojeek, Baidu, Yandex and Yahoo.jp. Switch engine in a tap, or set a prefix to reach one directly. 🕒 Recent Apps and Suggestions: Add a row of recently used apps under the bar, with app suggestions and search history as you type. 🎵 Media and Now Playing: Play, pause and skip from the widget, see the current track on the bar, switch media apps or open the full player. 🔦 Device Controls: Flashlight, Lock Screen, Power Menu, Ring Mode, Do Not Disturb, Brighten, Dim, Auto-Rotate and Screen Timeout, where supported. 📸 Capture and Record: Screenshot, screen recording with microphone or internal audio, a voice recorder, the camera and a QR scanner that decodes on device. 🧭 Shortcuts: Recents, Notifications, Quick Settings, Paste and Go, voice search, speed dial, a URL or query button, Google Lens, Discover, Translate and Weather. 🧮 Calculator and Timer: Handy utilities on the same bar. 🗂️ Ready-Made Templates: Start from a music deck, a focus layout or a travel kit, then change anything. 🎨 Material You: On Android 12 and later the widget can follow your wallpaper palette. Light, dark and system themes are supported. 🔒 Private Search: Search in a private window, or switch to a privacy focused engine. 📱 Phones and Tablets: Works on Android 7.0 and later, with as many widgets as you like. Permissions and privacy Your settings, widgets and search history stay on your device. Flow Search shows ads and uses Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. There are no accounts and no sign in. Search suggestions come from Google Suggest and can be switched off. Permissions are requested only when you add a button that needs one. Never add the Screen Record button and the app never asks for screen capture. Accessibility Service disclosure: Buttons such as Lock Screen, Power Menu, Screenshot, Recents, Notifications and Quick Settings use Android's Accessibility API, because Android provides no other way to perform them. Flow Search uses it only to run the action you tap. It does not read, collect or share screen content, anything you type, or any personal data, and you can turn it off at any time. Widget transparency and blur depend on your launcher and Android version, and some device controls are unavailable on certain manufacturers' software.
