Step Counter

Steps, tracked. Nothing else. No internet permission. No account. Every feature in this pedometer is free, and none of your data can leave your phone — this app doesn't request the permission that would let it. THE GUARANTEE Other step counters lose your count when the screen locks or your phone's battery manager kills the app in the background. This one doesn't. Steps are reconciled against your phone's hardware step counter, not streamed while the app runs — closing the app, force-stopping it, or restarting your phone never loses a single step. Reopen it, and your count is exactly where it should be. EVERYTHING YOU NEED, NOTHING TO UNLOCK 🚶 Step counter & pedometer — accurate hardware-based tracking, under 2% battery over 24 hours 🔥 Calories, distance & active time — calculated automatically as you walk 🏆 Achievements & streaks — step badges, levels, and daily streaks to keep you motivated 📊 Walking reports — day, week, month and year history with your personal records highlighted 💧 Water tracker — log your daily water intake ⚖️ Weight & BMI tracker — a simple weight log with a BMI trend ❤️ Heart rate log — manual entry or automatic sync from Health Connect, never your camera 🗺️ GPS walking routes — recorded and drawn entirely on your device; no map tiles, no location data leaves your phone ⌚ Wear OS companion — a standalone watch app with its own step tile and complication 📱 Home screen widget — your steps at a glance 💾 Local backup — export and import a single file, saved wherever you choose, never to a cloud account WHY NO INTERNET PERMISSION? This app simply doesn't request android.permission.INTERNET — it is technically incapable of sending anything, anywhere. Check the permissions on this listing: you'll see activity recognition for step counting and, only if you use routes, location — nothing else, and no way to phone home. HEALTH CONNECT This app can sync your steps and heart rate with Health Connect. That sync happens entirely on-device — Health Connect is local storage shared between apps, not a network service — so it fits the same promise as everything else here. A private, honest step tracker app: step counter, pedometer, step tracker, walking app, calorie counter, offline pedometer, no ads pedometer, private step counter, walking tracker, step counter offline, health tracker.
