Full description

Bout Timer is a purpose-built tool for fencing directors and coaches managing bouts and team matches. Designed so the director can keep their eyes on the fencers — not their phone. A single tap anywhere on the screen starts, pauses, and resumes the bout clock. No hunting for a small button mid-action. FEATURES - Configurable bout duration — set any time from 1 minute up - Tap anywhere to start and pause — no eyes needed - Persistent match scoring — scores carry across all bouts so you never lose count during team matches - +1 and +3 point values — supports standard touch scoring and deep target scoring for smallsword - Score correction — tap −1 to fix an accidental entry - Bout counter — tracks which bout you are on with a visual indicator - Three-beep end signal — loud audio alert when time expires so you can call halt without watching the screen - Audio feedback on pause and resume — confident confirmation without looking - Dark and light mode — dark for low light venues, light for bright outdoor events - Screen stays on — no interruptions during a bout - Works offline — no internet connection required Built by a fencing enthusiast for real tournament and practice use. Free to use — if it saves you time on the strip, a coffee is always appreciated. Suitable for foil, épée, sabre, and smallsword directors and coaches.

What's new

NEW: Team Match mode - track two rosters through a full bout order with on-deck pairings and running score. Match History to review/delete past matches. Help & Rules guide, incl. bout-order reference. Count Up (untimed) mode for touch-limited bouts, with pacing chime.
