AvisaCarga VIP

Find a free charger before you arrive. And if the one you want is busy, we'll let you know the moment it frees up. With no ad of any kind in the way. AvisaCarga VIP searches the charging points around you and tells you which are available and which are occupied, with the time the data was updated and which source it comes from. WHAT IT DOES - Searches for chargers within 1 to 50 km of you and sorts them by distance. - Tells you the status of each one: available, occupied or out of service. - When one is occupied, you can set an alert on it. The app checks every few minutes and lets you know the moment it frees up. - You can watch up to two chargers at a time. - You choose how often it checks: 4, 8 or 12 minutes. - The notification has its own sound and vibration, and its own notification channel. - No account and no sign-up: install it and use it. WHAT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE FREE EDITION - There is no ad on any screen. - You do not have to watch an ad to activate an alert: it activates instantly. - The app does not collect the advertising identifier, because there is no advertising that needs it. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THIS EDITION AvisaCarga VIP is a **separate app**, not an update to AvisaCarga. It installs on its own, it has its own identifier, and both can live on the same phone. They do not share data either: the settings and active alerts of one do not carry over to the other. If you are coming from the free edition, you start from scratch. HOW ACCURATE THE ALERT IS We would rather say it here than have you find out for yourself: - The checking interval is the one you choose, but Android can stretch it to about 9 minutes when the phone goes into deep sleep. That is a limit of the system, not of the app. - An alert expires after 6 hours. It does not keep running indefinitely, draining battery without you knowing. - The status is published by the source, and every charger shows the date of its last update. If a piece of data has not been refreshed for hours, you will see it. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Charging points come from the catalogue of the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO). Occupancy status is published by REVE · Red Eléctrica de España, S.A.U., the source credited on every charger. Coverage: Spain. PRIVACY There is no account and no sign-up, and the app has no server of its own. Your location is used to search for chargers near you and is sent to the data sources that publish the points and their status, because they are the ones that answer the query.
