Ambleforge: Road Trip Planner

Plan your whole road trip once. Then drive out of coverage and watch it keep working. Ambleforge is a road trip planner and travel itinerary maker for families and anyone who goes where the signal doesn't. Set up your trip while you have a connection — days, stops, lodging, costs and notes, plus offline maps for your route — and the whole plan keeps working when you lose coverage. Not a cached summary. The actual trip: readable, editable, and yours. PLAN IT ONCE • A complete trip planner and trip organizer: days, stops, lodging, costs and notes, organized into legs • A route planner that follows the real roads, not straight lines between pins • Live weather and drive times while you're online, kept and clearly dated when you're not • What's nearby — trails, fuel, repair, medical — with tap-to-call • Packing and shopping lists, per person or shared • Group trip planning in real time, free, with whoever is coming — a family road trip planner the whole car can edit TAKE IT EVERYWHERE Download maps before you go and they keep working with no signal at all. Everything else does too — read the travel itinerary, add a stop, fix a time, jot a note, all offline, and it syncs the moment you're back in coverage. If you've searched for an offline road trip planner that's more than a map, this is it. Today mode shows just what matters right now: today's plan, tonight's stay, one tap to navigate. Readable in glare, one-handed, with zero signal. REMEMBER IT Photos and notes you gather along the way become your trip's Story — a travel journal organized by the stop where it happened. Print it, export it, share a link — or order it as a real printed photo book of your trip, once, if you want one. HONEST ABOUT MONEY The free plan plans a real trip, start to finish. No stop limits, no trip limits, no paywall appearing halfway through your planning. There is no subscription. The one thing you can buy is a printed book of your trip, and only if you want one. No ads. No selling your data. HONEST ABOUT OFFLINE You need a connection to get set up — to install the app, download your maps, and pull in weather and nearby places. After that, you don't. That's the deal, and we'd rather say it plainly than let you find out on a mountain road. YOUR TRIP IS YOURS Print a travel-binder-quality itinerary worth handing to the back seat. Export to Google, Apple or Outlook calendars. Download the whole trip — documents and photos — as one open file. Share it with a link. Nothing is locked in. Whether it's a summer family road trip, a slow wander between small towns, or the vacation planner duty you got volunteered for — plan it once, take it everywhere, and keep what you made.
