PipeSure is a pipe-fitting calculator for pipefitters, steamfitters, welders and plumbers: offsets, rolling offsets, cut lengths with take-outs, elbow cuts, flange bolt charts and pipe data. Enter your measurements, get the cut length, and see exactly how it was worked out. SHOW THE MATH Every result opens into its steps: the formula, the multiplier (x 1.414, x 2.613, x 5.126), each take-out and the table row it came from (for example ASME B16.9, long-radius 90, NPS 4), the root gap, and the final subtraction. Check it against your own numbers before you cut. Nothing is rounded until the last line, so the error does not pile up. CALCULATORS - Offset: travel and cut length for a jog, at 11-1/4, 22-1/2, 30, 45, 60 or 90 degrees, or any angle you type - Rolling offset: true offset, travel and run from rise and roll, by box method or at a fitting angle you choose - Cut length: center-to-center minus the take-outs and joint gaps, pulling travel straight from the offset - Parallel offsets: the shift for each pipe in a bank - Elbow cut: cut a stock elbow to an odd angle, with the take-out and the inside, center and outside marks - Flange bolts: ASME B16.5 Class 150, 300 and 600, NPS 1/2 to 24 - Pipe data: OD, wall, ID and weight by schedule, NPS 1/8 to 24 - Grade: slope in inches per foot or percent, and the drop over a length TAKE-OUTS FOR EVERY JOINT Butt-weld fittings from ASME B16.9 (long and short radius 90s, 45s, 3R, returns, tees, reducers, caps) with a root gap you set. Threaded fittings with the thread engagement taken off. Socket-weld fittings with the back-off gap. Malleable iron Class 150 and forged Class 3000. Every take-out can be overridden when your fitting differs. FLANGE BOLT CHART Bolt count, bolt diameter, bolt circle, stud length and wrench size for every row, with the star tightening pattern. No lookup limit. FRACTIONS THE WAY A TAPE READS Type feet, inches and fractions. Results come back to 1/16" (or 1/32" or 1/8"), and long values show as feet and inches: 17' 10-3/4". Prefer metric?
