Weathervane Arrows: Escape

Weathervane Arrows is a calm arrow-escape puzzle. Every board is a picture made of arrows. Tap an arrow and it slides out the way it points, if its path is clear. If another arrow is in the way, it bumps and comes back. Find the right order, clear the board, and a piece of a Japanese woodblock print appears underneath. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap an arrow: it leaves when nothing blocks its path • A bump never ends the game: fewer bumps, more stars • Look first: the first tap shows the arrow's path, the second tap releases it, so you never send the wrong arrow • Pinch with two fingers to zoom on big boards A GALLERY OF PRINTS 100 halls and 1,503 boards. Each hall reveals one public-domain ukiyo-e print, piece by piece: views of Mount Fuji, bridges and boats, snowy villages, birds and flowers by Hokusai, Hiroshige and other masters. Finished prints go into your gallery with their title, artist and date. EVERY DAY • Daily Board: the same board for everyone today • Evening Board: a second daily board from 6 pm • Each daily board opens a piece of the month's print in the calendar (two pieces a day); finish the whole month to complete it • Missed a day? Play it from the calendar at any time THE "SO CLOSE!" FEELING Boards are tuned so that a careful player finishes with one bump or none. Every tenth board is a Master board, and a breather comes right after it. HELP WITHOUT PRESSURE • No lives, no countdowns, no energy • Three hints every day; a hint always shows an arrow that can leave • Lantern: lights up every arrow that can leave for five seconds (optional video) • Restart any board whenever you like EASY ON THE EYES Plain mode (no effects, single-colour arrows, a calm board), three text sizes, high contrast, generous touch areas and vibration you can turn off. MORE TO ENJOY • Daily missions, levels and statistics • Google Play Games: achievements, a weekly league and daily leaderboards, and cloud save across your devices • Arrow styles (brass, ink, copper, silver, jade, rose gold…) and backdrops (night chart, linen, walnut desk, kite sky…) • A daily streak, with a fair way to save it when you miss a day • Autumn event, October 23 to November 3: Lantern Night, 20 boards, a pumpkin-copper arrow style and a lantern-glow backdrop FAIR AND HONEST Every board is checked by code: each has at least one order in which all the arrows can leave. "How is it fair?" shows each board's fingerprint and checks it again on your phone. Plays offline. Free, with optional rewarded videos and a small banner at the bottom of the screen in its own space: no pop-up ads, no ads between boards and no in-app purchases.
