Yard Buddy shows you one thing: how far you are from the green. Front, center and back. Nothing to set up, nothing to sign up for. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT No account. There is no sign-up screen, no password, no email. Open it and play. No ads. Not on the course, not between holes, not ever. Works without signal. Courses are saved to your phone the first time you open them. After that a dead zone changes nothing. Say it out loud. Tap the speaker and it reads the distance, so you can keep your glove on and your eyes on the shot. HOW IT WORKS Pick your course from the ones nearest you. Walk. The hole changes by itself as you move up the course, and you can change it yourself any time. Every yardage is measured from exactly where you stand. COURSES Over 6,000 courses across 49 states, and growing every week. Search by name, town or street. If we do not have yours, searching for it tells us to add it. Course shapes and par come from OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.

What's new

Satellite view. Every hole now sits on a satellite photo of the course, with front, center and back on top. Tap the yardage card to see how far it is to reach and to carry each bunker and water hazard on the hole. Asking for your location now uses the standard system prompt.
