Alhora: Write & Format Books

Give your story room to become a book. Alhora brings writing, planning and book design into one calm workspace. Draft a chapter, keep your story world close, then shape your manuscript into a beautifully styled book. Your words stay yours. MADE FOR A BIGGER WRITING SPACE For the best Android experience, use a tablet or an unfolded foldable in landscape. A physical keyboard is helpful for longer writing sessions. Phones can open your projects, but the smaller screen makes detailed editing and book design less comfortable; some multi-panel workflows are better suited to a larger display. WRITE WITH YOUR BOOK IN VIEW • Draft and revise your manuscript in a focused writing workspace. • Organise chapters, scenes, front matter and back matter. • Switch between prose and structured blocks to suit the work. • Keep an outline beside your words and move through your book with ease. BUILD THE WORLD BEHIND THE WORDS Keep characters, places, research and story notes alongside your manuscript. Bring your planning and your writing together instead of scattering them across separate documents. MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A BOOK Explore typography, chapter openings and book styles. Refine the details and preview your pages as your manuscript takes shape. Alhora supports EPUB and PDF export with the appropriate paid access. START WHERE YOU ARE Begin with a blank project, explore the included sample book or import an existing manuscript. Save your work as an Alhora project and continue refining it over time. Core local writing works without a constant internet connection; online services require a connection. FREE TO EXPLORE Write, organise, format and preview your book with free access. Paid features, including exports and eligible cloud services, require the relevant Alhora plan or entitlement. Existing customers can sign in to use their eligible access. Android in-app purchases are not currently available. From the first sentence to the shape of a finished book: make space for your story with Alhora.
