Full description
Sortwise makes sorting algorithms finally click by showing you exactly what they do, one comparison and one swap at a time. Pick an algorithm — bubble, selection, insertion, merge, quick, heap and more — and watch a row of bars sort itself in front of you, with the elements being compared and swapped lit up as it happens, so the abstract becomes something you can actually see. What sets it apart is the code running alongside the animation. The real Python implementation is shown on screen, and the current line highlights in step with the bars moving, so you see precisely which line of code causes which swap. Play it at your own pace — step through move by move to study a tricky part, or let it run and just watch the pattern emerge — and each algorithm comes with a plain-language explanation of how it works and its time and space complexity, so you learn the why alongside the how. Feed in your own array and watch any algorithm chew through it, or race a couple of algorithms on the same data to see why some are dramatically faster than others. A short quiz mode helps it stick, asking you to predict the next step or match an algorithm to its behavior. Clean, focused, and built for actually understanding — not memorizing. Everything runs on your device: no account, no connection, no ads. Just the bars, the code, and sorting made clear.
