Full description
AirPipe Demo is the free trial version of AirPipe: check that it works with your speakers and your network before you buy. Every feature is included, multi-speaker sync too. How the demo works: • 10 minutes of clean streaming each time you start the app. • After that, a short beep plays over the music every few seconds. • Fully restarting the app resets the 10 minutes. No time limit and no beeps in the full app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airpipe.android Features: • stream any audio your phone is playing: music apps, video, podcasts, games. • fan out to multiple speakers in sync (encode-once, bit-identical RTP to every destination). • per-speaker volume sliders and mute, independent of master device volume. • automatic discovery via mDNS/Bonjour, no manual IP entry needed. • encrypted audio streaming: ChaCha20-Poly1305 on the AirPlay 2 path, AES-128-CBC on legacy AirPlay 1 receivers. • edge-to-edge Material 3 design with dynamic colors on Android 12+. • no ads, no tracking, no accounts — your audio never leaves your network. Tested receivers: • shairport-sync (Raspberry Pi and other Linux hosts) • Sony Bravia Theater Bar • Bose Portable Home Speaker • Music Assistant (in Home Assistant) • a Mac as an AirPlay receiver (accept the approval banner on the Mac when connecting) • most modern AirPlay 2 speakers and soundbars, over native AirPlay 2 or their AirPlay 1 / RAOP compatibility path Not supported: • HomePod, HomePod mini, and modern Apple TV are not supported yet. They may appear in the speaker list, but the connection will fail; that receiver family needs handling we have so far only verified for Macs. How it works: AirPipe captures the audio your Android device is currently playing using the system MediaProjection API and forwards it as encrypted RTP packets to the speakers you select. Audio is sent directly from your phone to the speaker over your local Wi-Fi. Nothing transits any server we control. Privacy: AirPipe collects no personal data and no audio. Anonymous crash and diagnostics reports help fix speaker compatibility problems and can be turned off in the app's settings. See the full privacy policy at airpipe.app/privacy. AirPipe is not affiliated with Apple Inc. "AirPlay" is a registered trademark of Apple Inc.; AirPipe references it only as a factual compatibility statement.

What's new

• Improved diagnostics, so speaker connection problems can be found and fixed faster.
