AI Comic Grading

AI Comic Grading uses advanced AI vision technology to give your comic books a detailed condition grade in minutes — no shipping, no waiting weeks, and no risk of your book getting lost or damaged in transit. HOW IT WORKS A guided photo walkthrough captures your comic from every angle a professional grader cares about — front and back covers, spine, all four corners, and interior pages. Our AI analyzes each photo against industry-standard grading criteria, checking for spine stress, corner wear, foxing, color break, staple issues, and dozens of other condition factors. Because even the sharpest photos can't show everything, a short disclosure questionnaire runs before grading — covering things a camera can miss, like centerfold attachment, page brittleness, interior tears, and interior writing or stamps. Your answers are factored directly into the final grade, so the result reflects the real condition of the book in your hands, not just what's visible in a photo. Curious how your own eye compares to a professional standard? Guess your comic's grade before the AI reveals its result and see how close you get. EVERY GRADE INCLUDES • An overall numerical grade • A full defect breakdown explaining exactly what affected the score • A certification reference number with free public verification at aicomicgrading.com — useful for sharing with buyers or documenting a collection • The option to print a mini-certificate with a scannable QR code linking straight to that public verification page YOUR ACCOUNT, EVERYWHERE Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and your grading history, credits, and certificates are saved securely and follow you across every device you own. GETTING STARTED New accounts start with free grades, no purchase required. Need more? Affordable credit packs are available any time, right from the app. Please note: AI Comic Grading is built for single-issue comic books. Trade paperbacks, omnibuses, and hardcovers don't fit the standard grading rubric and aren't currently supported. WHO IT'S FOR Whether you're a longtime collector curating a valuable run, a seller who wants fast, credible documentation before listing a book, or someone who just found a stack of comics in a closet and wants to know what they're worth, AI Comic Grading gives you a fast, consistent, professional starting point. AI grades are estimates intended to support — not replace — traditional in-hand grading for high-value transactions. Accuracy improves with clear, well-lit photos and honest questionnaire answers.
