Android's secure file picker gives access only to the images you select. Optional metadata preservation keeps common camera and date fields in JPEG output while excluding location metadata. Built for safer processing EXIF orientation is corrected automatically. Very large images are decoded conservatively, and output is limited to a 4096-pixel edge to reduce memory pressure. JPEG and WebP compression can reduce visible detail, and PNG output may be larger for photographic content, so review each result before deleting or moving an original.
