New Science

Can you rediscover everything humanity has ever created? New Science is an open-ended combination game that takes you from humanity's earliest discoveries to the Age of Intelligence. Begin with the simplest objects and ideas. Combine them to create something new, then use those discoveries to unlock inventions, technologies, cultures and concepts from across human history. Bread and Knife might make Sliced Bread. Sport and Competition might lead to the Olympics. Keep experimenting and you could discover something that no other player in the world has ever found. DISCOVER MORE THAN 50,000 OBJECTS Build a collection spanning 16 ages of history: Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Classical Age, Age of Faith, Age of Empires, Renaissance Age, Age of Discovery, Industrial Age, Electrical Age, Modern Age, Atomic Age, Space Age, Digital Age, Smartphone Age, Age of Intelligence. Each age introduces new possibilities and increasingly surprising combinations. MAKE DISCOVERIES NOBODY ELSE HAS FOUND New Science is connected to one shared world of discoveries. Many combinations are already known, but countless possibilities remain. Find a valid new combination before anyone else and your name is permanently recorded as its original discoverer. Your experiments do not only complete your own collection. They expand the game for every player. EXPERIMENT WITH OPEN-ENDED COMBINATIONS New Science is not restricted to a small, fixed recipe book. Its discovery system interprets the objects you combine and works out what they could logically create. Familiar combinations produce satisfying results, while unusual experiments can lead somewhere you did not expect. If a combination makes sense, there is a good chance the game will understand it. EVERY CARD DRAWN AS YOU FIND IT Every discovery becomes a collectible card with its own illustration and a place in the global archive. A discovery nobody has made before has art nobody has seen before. COLLECT, TRADE AND COMPLETE YOUR ARCHIVE Complete your collection, hunt for the discoveries you are missing, and find rare foil versions of your favourite cards. Trade duplicates with other players, or hold on to rare finds that show how far you have travelled through history. TAKE PART IN MONTHLY CHALLENGES Each month brings a new season with fresh objectives and a new leaderboard. Race to uncover target discoveries, work with your team, and compete for permanent seasonal accolades.
