Full description

Nacre Your life as a story. Nacre is a journaling app that gives your life a structure: main quests, side quests, and the characters who keep recurring. Write the way you already think: about the projects you're carrying, the people who keep showing up, the questions that won't let go. The grid is conceptual, never visual. No XP, no levels, no badges. Just a way to see your story. And like nacre, it deepens layer by layer, the longer you keep it. QUESTS Define what you're moving through. A main quest is the big question of a year, like "find meaning in my work" or "leave the city". Side quests are the ongoing arcs: a project, a relationship, a transition. Open one and read every entry that punctuated it, in order. CHARACTERS Add the people who recur in your life: a therapist, a sibling, a colleague you're navigating. Open a character and replay every entry where they appeared. REPLAY Chronological journals lose the threads. Nacre keeps them. After a year, your story takes shape across months and across people. After three, it becomes irreproducible. LINKING, NEVER FORCED Tag an entry to one or more quests and characters with a single tap. Skipping the tag is a first-class flow. Write first. EVERYTHING YOU'D EXPECT FROM A JOURNAL • Rich text editor with photo and audio attachments • Mood (8 emotions) and a short sentence • Monthly calendar, full-text search • "On This Day" with the quests and people that were active then • Daily reminders, discreet streaks (presence, not competition) • 3 themes (light, dark, midnight), 3 fonts, custom accent colors • Export to Markdown, JSON, or plain text. Your data, always. • Face ID / Touch ID lock • English and French PRIVACY BY DEFAULT Everything stays on your device until you choose to sync. No analytics, no third-party trackers. AI never reads your journal unless you ask it to. NACRE PLUS Nacre is free, forever. Nacre Plus adds cloud sync across your devices, recurring AI Chapters woven from your own entries, quests and characters, unlimited photo and audio backup, and premium themes. Your life is already a story. Nacre is where you read it back.
