Minimal Launcher: Focus Timer

Turn your phone into a distraction-free dumb phone. Minimal Launcher is a text-based minimalist launcher that replaces your cluttered home screen with a calm one, so you reach for your phone less and get your day back. Inspired by digital minimalism and the dumb phone movement, this minimalist launcher strips away the colourful icons and endless grids that keep you scrolling, and leaves only what you actually use. ⬤ A HOME SCREEN THAT DOESN'T PULL AT YOU Your home screen becomes a short list of app names in clean text. No icon grid, no badges, no feed, no ads. Pin the handful of apps you truly need and let everything else live in the search-first app drawer. Prefer icons? Turn them back on in one tap. ⬤ HIDE AND LOCK DISTRACTING APPS Most launchers are built to keep you on your phone. This one is built to get you off it. Hide social media, shopping and video apps so they vanish from the drawer completely. Lock the ones you can't delete behind a pattern lock, so opening them takes a deliberate moment instead of a reflex. That pause is where the habit breaks. ⬤ BUILT-IN FOCUS TIMER (POMODORO) Start a 25-minute focus session and a 5-minute break straight from your home screen. The timer keeps running in the background and shows in your widget, so a focus block is one tap away instead of one more app to install. ⬤ MINIMAL WIDGETS, NOT WIDGET CLUTTER A small, deliberate set: clock (digital or analog), date and time, next calendar event, Pomodoro timer, todo count, focus quote, and a daily intention you write each morning. Four slots, top and bottom. Nothing blinks, nothing begs for a tap. ⬤ ESSENTIAL SPACE One quiet place for notes, tasks, photos and voice recordings, so a passing thought doesn't turn into ten minutes inside another app. ⬤ FAVOURITE CONTACTS Keep the people who matter one tap from the home screen. Call or message them without opening anything social. ⬤ BUILT FOR OLED, BUILT FOR CALM True black backgrounds that genuinely save battery on OLED screens. Adjustable wallpaper dimming, several typefaces, and a font size you can actually read. Swipe down for notifications. Show recent and frequent apps, or switch them off entirely. ⬤ PRIVACY, PLAINLY No ads, ever. No data sold or shared. Your notes, contacts, app list and pattern lock never leave your device. The only thing collected is anonymous usage counts (which screens and features get used) to help fix what's broken, and you can switch that off in Settings in one tap. ⬤ PERFECT FOR • Digital detox and cutting screen time with a minimalist launcher • Breaking phone addiction and mindless scrolling • ADHD and neurodivergent users who need less visual noise • Anyone who wants a dumb phone without buying one • Students, writers and deep workers ⬤ FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL ONE-TIME PRO Every feature works on the free version. Pro is a single purchase, never a subscription, and only lifts the quantity caps: unlimited pinned, hidden and locked apps, all four widget slots, more favourite contacts and unlimited Essential Space. Back up and restore your entire setup whenever you like. Minimal Launcher is a minimalist home screen launcher, not a phone cleaner. Your apps, files and data are untouched. Switch back to your old launcher at any time. Questions or ideas: [email protected]
