✦ Aetherium Hearts ✦ — an auto-explore roguelike Form a company and send them into the deep. Expeditions run on the server in real time. The journey continues while the app is closed, and those who return bring back a tale. ■ What it is ・Auto-explore: the descent, the fighting and the way home are all automatic. You choose who goes, and then you watch. ・Real time: the dungeon advances while the app is shut. A smooth 3D map when you open it. ・The fighting is there to see: bolts fly, blades catch the light, spells spread. When venom takes hold, when flesh turns to stone, the screen tells you. ・Six elements, five afflictions: strike at weaknesses; slip past venom, palsy, drain, petrifaction and age. ・Fifty-five monsters, and the gap in levels: from goblins in the shallows to the elder dragon at the bottom. All of it recorded in the bestiary. ・Traps, chests, keys: pitfalls and mimics, and doors that are locked. Humanoid monsters carry keys. ・Tales: what happened on each floor is woven by an AI into a single piece of prose. Share it wherever you like. ・The town and the rescue: keep several adventurers, and send a company down after anyone who falls. If the gold falls short, the guild covers it. ・The roads: eleven minutes west of the wall to a waystation, seventeen more to Ashrim, where they fire glass. The company walks together, and some creatures are met only on the roads. ・Death is not a respawn: each time you call one back, a level is lost for good.
