Aera Logistics Driver

Aera Driver is the delivery app for drivers moving vehicles for Aera Capital Cargo Services, a vehicle shipping, customs clearance and delivery company in the UAE. SIGN-IN REQUIRED This app is for drivers employed by the delivery companies Aera contracts. There is no sign-up. Your login is created by your office and given to you directly. If you do not have one, this app will not do anything for you. YOUR RUNS, IN ORDER See the deliveries assigned to you, each with the vehicle, where to collect it, where it is going, and when it is due. Your office assigns them; they appear here. FIVE STEPS PER RUN Go to the vehicle, photograph its condition at collection, drive it, photograph it again at drop-off, hand it in. The app shows which step you are on and what is still outstanding, so you are never guessing what the office is waiting for. THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE THE PROOF There is no signature and no paper note. The photographs you take at both ends are the record of the vehicle's condition, and they are what settles a later question about a scratch or a dent. They upload as you take them, so a photo that has already gone through is kept even if you walk out of signal afterwards. The app tells you exactly which ones the office has. THE CAR'S PAPERS Gate Pass, VCC and BOE where the office has filed them, so you are not phoning for a document while standing at the gate. NOTIFICATIONS When your office puts you on a delivery, you hear about it. CAMERA The app uses your camera for one thing: photographing the condition of a vehicle when you collect it and again when you hand it over. Nothing is captured in the background. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO It shows no prices, no invoices and no financial information. What you are paid is between you and your employer. It does not collect your location, and it does not track your route between the two ends of a run. YOUR ACCOUNT Your name, phone number and password are kept up to date by the delivery company that employs you. Ask your office to change them or to close your login.
