Fissure: A Contract Between Worlds is a completely text-based interactive fiction. Follow the story of Jean, an ordinary salaryman working a routine job at a faceless company — until he decides, or not, to follow a strange girl he met during his lunch break. Depending on your choices, his adventures will take him to strange worlds, introduce him to colorful characters, and let him form bonds with some of them — or meet a premature end, as the world of Fissure can be quite unforgiving. Beyond your raw choices, Fissure features a stat system. At regular intervals you can gain and spend points to improve Jean's abilities, and some paths, dialogues, and actions are gated behind these stat distributions. Fissure is completely free and ad-free, and is regularly updated with new chapters. As it stands, it is already fairly long, with multiple branching paths and dialogue choices that make it worth replaying. Enjoy the read.

What's new

A pretty large update this time, for 1.0.9, as I changed the app logo and presentation, modified some stuff on the save parameters, and of course, a new chapter (number 09). This Chapter is on the shorter side, but you'll find out that with proper stats allocation, you can unlock drastically different paths and ways to play through the story
