Full description
Learn the Korean you actually hear in K-Drama — and the Korean K-Pop fans actually type. Most Korean apps hand you a vocabulary list. This one starts where your interest already is: the late-night food stall where everyone finally says what they mean, the ice-cold formal speech of the corner office, the confession at the bus stop, the palace and its old court language. Then it shows you exactly how those sentences are built. And if you cannot read Hangul yet, it teaches you that first — properly, in forty lessons. K-DRAMA KOREAN Eight courses built around scenes you already know: the food stall, the corner office, the confession, the palace, the emergency room, the chase, Sunday dinner with the family, the 24-hour store at 3 a.m. Each one comes with its own illustration and the lines people really use in that moment. K-POP KOREAN Five courses on the words fan communities use every day. Bias, comeback, light stick, pre-order, sold out. Read comments, follow a live stream, and get through a Korean shop page without a translator. HANGUL FROM ZERO Ten courses through every letter — simple vowels, y-vowels, plain consonants, breathy and tense pairs, compound vowels, and the final consonants that trip everyone up. Tap the letters and watch them snap together into a syllable in front of you. SEVEN WAYS TO PRACTISE Match letters to sounds. Listen and choose. Tap jamo together into a syllable. Rearrange a sentence into the right order. Fill the gap. Translate both directions. Every question explains itself after you answer — including when you get it wrong. BUILT TO KEEP YOU GOING Miss a question and it comes back before the lesson ends. Only first-try answers count, so the score means something. Daily streaks, XP, unlockable titles, and a global leaderboard across dozens of countries. WHAT IS IN THE APP - 23 courses, 90 lessons, 540 questions - Korean speech on every phrase, with a slower replay - Original illustrations for every drama scene - Lessons work offline - New courses arrive without an app update - Free, with no subscription and nothing locked behind a paywall - Sign in with Google or Apple, or just start as a guest WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who has paused an episode to work out what a line meant. Anyone who can read a fan comment's emotion but not its words. Anyone who wants to read Hangul by the end of the week. Every Korean word, sentence and explanation in this app is written for this app, and every illustration is original artwork. It does not reproduce dialogue, scripts, lyrics, images, audio or video from any drama, film or song. Course names describe common scene types across the genre, not specific works.
