Full description
Addaly is a free school about artificial intelligence. It starts from nothing assumed: what AI is, how a language model works, and how to get real work out of one. It goes as far as Python, agents, evaluation, open models and fine-tuning. Every lesson is free to read, and you do not need an account, an email address or a name. WHAT IS IN THE SCHOOL 35 courses in five tracks: Start here, Make things, Use it in your work, Build with it, and Go underneath. 285 modules and 2,706 lessons, about 2.1 million words in all. 1,000 figures drawn from data, and 285 case studies. 35 textbooks, one for each course, free to download and print. 9 course films, 133 minutes in all, every one with captions. IN THE APP Learn: every course by track, with its modules and lessons, and a search of the titles of all 2,706 lessons. The list is kept on your phone, so it opens and searches without a signal. Lessons: read any lesson, with its figures, laid out for a phone. Books: download the textbook for a course and read it with no signal, or share it. Films: watch the course films in your phone's own player, with captions, full screen if you like. A film picks up where you stopped. Ask: type a question and see the lessons that match it first, then a short answer written by AI, numbered to the lessons it came from so that you can check it. When the lessons do not cover a question, the answer says so. WHO IT IS FOR People who were never told what this technology is. Students, teachers, small business owners, designers, video makers and developers. The Make things track teaches design, image editing, vectors and print, video, motion and sound, and names a free tool for every technique beside the paid one a job advert names, because many people learn on a phone or a laptop that cannot run expensive software. HOW IT IS MADE, SAID PLAINLY Founder and series editor: Dr Mustafa Mun. Written by AI models to a written standard. Exam keys checked blind by a second model: 3,665 of 3,666 agreed. Academic review invited. Answers in Ask are written by AI. They can be wrong, which is why the lessons they came from are shown first. Every film is narrated by a synthetic voice, not a person. The school's tutors, on the website, are AI, and every page says so. Their portraits are drawings, not photographs. FREE, AND STAYING FREE There is no paid tier, no subscription, no certificate to buy and no advertising. Reading is never gated. The lessons and textbooks are published under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0): you may copy, print, share and adapt them for any non-commercial purpose, with credit, under the same licence. This version of the app is for reading and watching, with no account and no sign-in. It collects no identifiers and does no tracking. The app remembers which lessons you have read and where you stopped in a film, on your phone only. Exams and the AI tutors are on the website at addaly.com for anyone who wants an account there. Found a mistake? Report it from the lesson or the answer where you saw it, or write to [email protected].
