Acoustic Chrono turns your phone into an acoustic arrow-speed measurement and shot-analysis tool. Set your range, select your bow and arrow profiles, position your phone safely beside the bow, and record the sounds of the bow release and target impact. Acoustic Chrono analyses the interval between those events, corrects for the return travel time of the impact sound, and estimates the arrow's speed from launch, to the target and beyond. Launch velocity and values beyond the target are modelled estimates based on the available shot, equipment and environmental information. Results depend on accurate range and profile inputs, phone placement, environmental conditions, signal quality and correct identification of the release and impact sounds.
