Acorns Nest

Acorns Nest is the mobile companion to the Acorns Nest childcare platform. Teachers log the day from the classroom floor, and families see how it went without waiting for pickup. An account is required. Accounts are created by your childcare centre, so your director will send you an invitation by email before you sign in. FOR TEACHERS AND KITCHEN STAFF Open your room to a present count already matched against the roster. * Bulk Log: check in, check out, mid-day exit, and return for the whole room in a single save, with notes and a time you choose * Nap timers for one sleeper or every mat in the room, more than once a day * Meal intake in 25% steps, and infant milk in ounces * Outing Mode: set a destination and return time, and families are told where pickup will be * Child profiles with allergies, dietary needs, emergency contacts, and authorized pickups one tap away * Classroom photos shared with the families you choose * Timesheets you submit from the room, with approval status you can follow FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS * Home: today's check-in, outings, absences, and the day's menu * Communicate: a card feed of classroom notes, centre announcements, and private messages about your child * History: naps, meals, and attendance across 1, 7, or 30 days * Absence requests, so the room knows before the morning starts * The profile your centre keeps on file, including allergies and pickup list PUBLISHED ON THE CENTRE'S SCHEDULE Check-ins, outings, and announcements reach families right away. Naps, meals, and the full care log stay in the classroom until staff publish the day, so families read a finished record instead of a half-written one. BUILT FOR LICENSED CHILDCARE Directors handle enrolment, staffing, weekly menus, and attendance reporting from the Acorns Nest web dashboard. The app is where the day gets recorded and read. Staff write it once, and everyone else works from the same record. PRIVACY Acorns Nest does not track you and does not sell personal information.
