The Abundant Life Journey

The Abundant Life Journey is a quiet place to bring whatever you are carrying today. Open it when your heart is heavy, or when it is full. Choose how you feel — sadness, anger, fear, shame, despair or disgust; joy, gratitude, peace, hope, loved or awe — and you are given a post card written for that moment: Scripture that meets it, a short reflection, and a prayer you can pray as it stands. Alongside the post cards is a devotional for every day of the year. Each day has a passage, a reflection, and one thing to carry into the day. Read it on the page, or have it read aloud to you. When you need to be still rather than to read, the Abide timer sets aside time to be quiet with God — a verse to sit with, gentle ambient sound, hymns if you want them, and three soft gongs when the time is up. There is room to write, too. The Joy Journal is for noticing the good things, the moments that remind you God is near. Type an entry, or press the microphone and speak it. Whatever you write stays on your phone.
