BUILD THE ATMOSPHERE YOURSELF The sound mixer holds five layers - Sea Waves, Campfire, Steady Rain, Forest Wind and White Noise - each with its own volume. Put a little rain under a piano piece, or fire and wind under a guided session. Your mix is remembered for next time. A TIMER YOU CAN FEEL Drag your finger around the Tide Clock to set anywhere from 5 to 120 minutes, or tap a preset. The countdown runs in minutes and seconds, and you choose how long the closing fade takes: 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes. The session thins out and ends softly. THREE MOVEMENTS, ONE INTENTION Tide Journey builds a short sequence that arrives, deepens and returns. Choose Settle, Sleep or Focus and a length of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and the app assembles three matching movements you can refresh until they feel right. NINETY SECONDS OF ATTENTION The Listening Compass is a five-step, 90-second attention exercise: near sound, distant sound, direction, then the space between sounds. The music keeps playing while you follow it. It is a listening exercise, not a medical or therapeutic tool. MADE FOR THE DARK A slow animated tide moves behind everything, with light particles that answer your touch, and a switch to turn all motion off. Black Screen is a very dark in-app listening view: the controls fade out of the way and reappear on a tap. WHAT IT REMEMBERS Favorites, recently played, your last track and position, and your mixer settings. Plus shuffle, repeat current, seek, and previous and next on every screen. WHAT TO EXPECT The catalog streams over the internet, so a connection is required. There is no offline mode and no downloads. The Android build includes a native media service that puts play, pause, previous, next and seek in the system notification and on the lock screen. How playback behaves once you leave the app or the screen goes dark still depends on your Android version, your device and its battery settings. This app is made for rest, relaxation and focused listening. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
