Find your way in style with Ornate Compass, a richly detailed Victorian brass compass for your phone. THE COMPASS • Tilt-compensated heading: accurate even when your phone isn't perfectly flat • Your exact bearing in degrees, plus the 16-point direction (N, NNE, NE…) • A smooth, weighted dial that swings and settles like a real card compass • A gentle haptic click as you pass North, East, South and West FIELD READINGS • Shows the strength of the magnetic field around you • Warns you about magnetic interference from nearby metal or electronics and tells you how to recalibrate (wave your phone in a figure 8) CRAFTED DETAIL • An ornate gilded case with an engraved dial and an eight-point compass rose • Engraved brass plaques in classic serif lettering • An antique map backdrop SIMPLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT • Opens straight to the compass, with no setup, accounts or menus • The compass works offline using your phone's built-in sensors • No location permission needed If your device has no compass sensor, you can still turn the dial by dragging it with your finger. Note: Ornate Compass points to magnetic north. For best accuracy, keep away from magnets, metal surfaces and phone cases with magnetic clasps.
