UNOFFICIAL STUDY APP — NOT A GOVERNMENT SERVICE Canada Road Signs is an independent study aid published by Mobile Anarchy. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of Canada or any provincial or territorial government, ministry, department or Crown corporation. The explanations here are our own summaries written for study; they are not legal advice and are not an official statement of the rules of the road. Only your province or territory's official publication is authoritative — always confirm there before relying on anything you read in this app. OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT SOURCES • Alberta — https://www.alberta.ca/driver-guides-overview-and-pdf-versions • British Columbia (ICBC) — https://icbc.com/driver-licensing/driving-guides/Learn-to-Drive-Smart • Manitoba (MPI) — https://apps.mpi.mb.ca/comms/drivershandbook/ • New Brunswick — https://www.gnb.ca/en/topic/driving-transportation/driving-licensing/driver-handbook.html • Newfoundland and Labrador — https://www.gov.nl.ca/motorregistration/new-drivers/road-user-guide/ • Northwest Territories — https://www.inf.gov.nt.ca/en/services/driver-and-vehicle-services • Nova Scotia — https://novascotia.ca/sns/rmv/safe/handbook.asp • Nunavut — https://www.gov.nu.ca/en/service-nunavut/drivers-manuals • Ontario (MTO) — https://www.ontario.ca/document/official-mto-drivers-handbook/signs • Prince Edward Island — https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/en/topic/driving • Quebec — https://www.quebec.ca/en/transports/traffic-road-safety/traffic-signs-and-signals • Saskatchewan (SGI) — https://sgi.sk.ca/handbook • Yukon — https://yukon.ca/en/yukon-drivers-basic-handbook The same notice and the same links appear inside the app: on first launch, on the browse screen, on every sign's detail view, and under Settings → Official sources. --- Every road sign you need to know before your Canadian road test — with a plain-language explanation for each one, in English and French. Canada Road Signs covers 156 signs built on the national standards used across the country, plus the Quebec-specific signs the MTQ posts. Browse them, study them with flashcards, then test yourself until you stop second-guessing. WHAT YOU GET • 156 road signs, every one with an explanation of what it means and what you must do • Browse by category: regulatory, warning, school, construction, railway, lane use, crosswalk and information • Flashcard study — flip a card, mark what you know, track what you have mastered • Quiz mode with two question types: identify the sign, or match the meaning • Best scores per category, and a "signs to review" list after every quiz • Pick your province or territory to focus on the signs used where you drive STUDY REMINDERS THAT FIT A ROAD TEST Set your road test date and the app counts down to it — reminders at 14, 7, 3 and 1 days out, plus the morning of your test. Add a daily practice nudge at a time you choose; it skips itself on days you have already studied. A Sunday summary tells you what you mastered that week and which category to revisit. BOTH OFFICIAL LANGUAGES Every sign name and every explanation is written in English and Canadian French. Switch language inside the app without touching your phone's settings. REGULATORY, WARNING, SCHOOL AND CONSTRUCTION SIGNS Stop and yield signs, speed limits, no parking and no stopping, do not enter, one way, turn restrictions, railway crossings and crossbucks, school zones and crosswalks, construction and work zone signs, detours, lane use and reserved lanes, and the Quebec signs — Arrêt, prescription and danger — that only appear in that province. NO ACCOUNT, WORKS OFFLINE Everything is on your device. No sign-up, no login, and no internet needed once installed. Your progress stays on your phone. Good luck on your road test.
