GPS Speedometer: Accurate

A simple, accurate GPS speedometer. No extra modes — just your speed, done right. Most speedometer apps show 3–5 km/h while you're standing still: GPS drifts, and the app pretends you're moving. My Speedometer reads speed directly from your phone's GPS chip — using the Doppler effect, far more accurate than calculating it from coordinates — and honestly shows zero when you stop. ACCURACY FIRST • An honest zero when standing still — no 3–5 km/h drift • Accurate speed on foot, by bike, by scooter and by car • Always see your GPS signal quality: good, fair or weak • No signal? The app tells you so instead of showing an outdated number MADE FOR THE ROAD • A classic dial with a needle and a large speed number underneath • The scale adapts by itself: 0–20 on foot, up to 240 in a car — or pick your own • Color zones: green, yellow, red. You set the limits — for example, 50 km/h in towns • Sound and vibration when your speed moves to another zone • Distance counter with Start, Stop and Reset — kept between launches • km/h and mph, kilometers and miles • Dark and light themes; the screen stays on while the speedometer is open • One-tap exit button 25 LANGUAGES Tap the globe on the main screen to change the language at any time: English, Українська, Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, Español, Français, Italiano, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português (Brasil), Română, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, Ελληνικά, Български. FREE AND PRIVATE • No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts • No internet access — your location never leaves your phone • Location is used only while the app is open: no background location, no routes, no trip history • Only two permissions: location and vibration IMPORTANT This speed meter is not a vehicle speedometer. Readings depend on the GPS signal and may differ from your actual speed. Use it only when it is safe to do so, and never interact with your phone while driving. Distance is counted only while the app is open.
