Your health is also your clock. It drains on its own, every hit takes a bite out of it, and the only way to buy more time is to kill faster than the nebula can close in. Cosmic Draft is a one-thumb space roguelite. You steer a comet; the weapons fire themselves. Between waves you spend what you looted and decide what the ship becomes. No two runs end the same way. THE RUN - 20 planets, one long push to the Cosmic Overlord. - Every planet is a timed wave, then a scramble to collect what dropped before the next one starts. - Bosses on planets 5, 10, 15 and 20 - three phases each, with their own attacks, minions and tells. - Three planets are not fights at all. They are side-scrolling jetpack runs through tunnels, mine fields and laser walls. Planet 17 is a siege from all four edges at once. THE BUILD - 26 weapons: pistols, lasers, flamethrowers, chain lightning, orbiting asteroids, mines, drones, telekinetic grabs, and eight rare ones that cost more and hit far harder. - 100 kills with a weapon evolves it. New name, new look, new numbers. - 29 upgrade cards, drafted three at a time and paid for in gold, across five build identities: damage, crit, tank, economy and status. - 16 special abilities. Black hole, phase dash, mirror clone, temporal rewind, EMP burst, deployable turret and more. Two equipped, plus your pilot's signature move. - Five status effects that stack, spread and feed each other: burn, frostbite, corrosion, shock, blight. THE RISK - 20 Drift Conditions, each one a buff bolted to a debuff. Take all three on offer and the run pays more, if it survives Planet 4. - 14 Cosmic Events, offered every five planets. Read the trade, take it or walk away. - Elite enemies carry shields, armour, rage or regeneration, and they get more common the deeper you go. - Five Ascension tiers, for when Planet 20 stops being frightening. BETWEEN RUNS - The Nebula Forge: 26 permanent upgrade cards across 95 levels, bought with diamonds you earn by playing. - Six pilots, each with its own ship, signature ability and stat profile. - A Pilot Rank ladder that opens the Forge, the loadout screen and most of the roster. - A login streak that only ever moves forward. Miss a day and you lose nothing. - 51 achievements, a global leaderboard, and cloud save that follows your account to a new phone. BUILT FOR A PHONE One thumb, a floating joystick, auto-fire, landscape. A normal planet runs under two minutes, so a session fits the gaps in a day instead of asking for an evening. STRAIGHT ABOUT THE BUSINESS Cosmic Draft is free to download and it shows ads. Runs cost energy: a full tank is ten runs and it refills at about two runs an hour. You can buy energy or premium currency, or pay once - once, never a subscription - to remove the ads. There are no loot boxes, nothing with randomised contents is sold for money, and every pilot, weapon and Forge upgrade can be earned by playing.
