Off Air is an offline music player, designed for your existing song collection. You already have the songs. Off Air opens, finds the music files on your phone, and plays them. No stream. No account. No sign-in. The play button plays the song. No feature that plays a song sits behind the paywall. What Off Air does not do Off Air does not stream a catalogue, and it does not download or sell music. It does not create an account or ask for your email address. It does not read contacts, location, call logs or call history. There is no After Call feature, and there are no ads in your notifications. Permissions - Audio and media files: needed so Off Air can find the music already on your device. Without it there is nothing to play. - Notifications: used to show playback controls on the notification shade and lock screen. - Foreground service (media playback): keeps the current song playing when you leave the app or lock the screen. Off Air does not use these permissions to track you, and your library never leaves your device.
