Fob: 2FA Authenticator App

Fob is a 2FA authenticator app that keeps your accounts secure and your codes safe, even if you lose your phone. Two-factor authentication protects your logins. Fob makes sure you never lose access to it: guided recovery setup, easy switching from your old app, and tag-based organization that finds any code in a second, even with 50 accounts. NEVER LOSE YOUR CODES Most people meet their authenticator app on the worst day: the day a phone is lost, stolen, or upgraded and every code is gone. Fob fixes that before it happens. The first thing it asks you to do, before you add a single account, is set up recovery. Guided. Three steps. About 60 seconds. Your vault is end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read your codes. And you can export your whole vault any time, in an open format you can actually read, so you move to a new device on your own terms. Your data is yours, no matter what happens to us. SWITCH FROM GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR, AUTHY, OR AEGIS Moving to a new authenticator usually means re-adding every account by hand. Fob makes it quick. Google Authenticator: scan one export QR and you are done in minutes. Aegis, Bitwarden, and other standard formats: import in one tap. Authy: Authy has no export button, so Fob's guided migration wizard walks you through each account with a checklist and progress tracker so you never lose your place. You only do it once. If you have been looking for a Google Authenticator alternative or an Authy alternative that finally lets you bring your accounts with you, this is it. TAGS: FIND ANY CODE INSTANTLY Most authenticator apps give each account one group, or no organization at all. Fob lets you put multiple tags on a single account and filter by any combination instantly. Tag your bank as "finance." Tag Coinbase as "crypto," "finance," and "high-value." Tap a tag and everything else disappears. Whether you have 12 accounts or 60, you find the right code in a second instead of scrolling a long list. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads. No analytics. No tracking. Not "we limit it." None. Your codes generate on your device, fully offline, with no internet connection required. Fob is closed source, and we earn your trust by how the app is built, not by asking for it: end-to-end encryption you can verify by architecture, the full design published at fob.codes/security, and export that always works.
