Topic: CAPS Learning for SA

Topic is South Africa's social learning platform built for Grade 10-12 learners studying the CAPS curriculum. Whether you're preparing for a controlled test, a term exam, or matric finals, Topic gives you the lessons, drills, and study squad to pass with confidence. ★ EVERY CAPS SUBJECT — 1000+ LESSONS From Mathematics and Physical Sciences to History, Life Sciences, Accounting, Geography, and Business Studies. Lessons match the official CAPS Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) week-by-week, so you're always studying what your school is teaching right now. ★ KINETIC — YOUR AI TUTOR Stuck on a question? Tap Kinetic, our AI study buddy trained on the South African curriculum, and get a clear, age-appropriate explanation in seconds. Kinetic can: • Explain any concept the way a great teacher would • Walk you through a tricky homework problem step-by-step (Snap & Solve) • Generate a CAPS-aligned practice quiz on any topic (Quiz Me) • Build a personalised day-by-day exam plan from today to your exam date (Exam Coach) • Render proper mathematical notation — fractions, exponents, trig identities, all displayed beautifully ★ STUDY WITH FRIENDS Add classmates as friends, join subject group chats, share notes, send voice notes when you've cracked a concept, and react with lime taps and GIFs. Direct messaging unlocks at 16 — younger learners can still join public study groups. ★ SOCIAL FEED — LEARN OUT LOUD See what your friends are working on, post a tough question for the community, share a win when you ace a test, or just hype someone else's streak. Topic is the only South African study app built around community. ★ STREAKS, XP, AND RANKS Daily streaks reward consistent study habits. Earn XP for every lesson you complete and every quiz you ace. Climb the Topic ranks from Bronze to Diamond and unlock subject mastery badges. ★ MADE FOR YOUR PHONE Topic is built for the way South African learners actually study — on data, in transit, in the back of class when the teacher isn't looking. Lessons load fast, work on entry-level Android phones, and never burn your data on autoplay videos. Push notifications keep you informed about new messages, friend activity, and daily exam-coach drills. ★ PRIVACY-FIRST AND POPIA COMPLIANT Your data lives on secure EU servers. We don't sell your information, we don't show you targeted ads, and we never share content from your private messages. Parental consent is required for learners under 18.
