The Tropical Innovation Festival returns to Cairns from June 23–27, 2025, promising an exhilarating week where innovation meets the tropics. Set against the backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef, #TIF2025 is a dynamic celebration of entrepreneurship, technology, and community. Hosted at a number of venues across Cairns, the festival offers a “choose your own adventure” experience, allowing attendees to tailor their journey through a diverse program of events. From thought-provoking talks and hands-on workshops to immersive networking sessions, #TIF2025 caters to a wide array of interests and goals. Whether you're a startup founder, investor, or simply passionate about innovation, there’s something here for everyone. Our marquee event "Innovators to the Reef" returns this year. This signature event takes participants on a full-day journey aboard the Evolution dive boat, combining curated keynote presentations, interactive learning labs, and opportunities to explore the reef. It’s a unique setting that fosters deep connections and creative collaborations among founders, investors, scientists, and policymakers. Beyond the reef, #TIF2025 offers a rich tapestry of sessions covering topics like social impact, ESG, AI, quantum tech, and Indigenous innovation, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the innovation landscape. What truly sets #TIF2025 apart is its emphasis on community and connection. With shorter, more frequent sessions and ample networking opportunities, the festival encourages meaningful interactions and the building of lasting relationships. Whether you’re attending to gain insights, forge partnerships, or simply be inspired, #TIF2025 offers an environment that nurtures growth and collaboration. So, if you’re looking to immerse yourself in a vibrant community of innovators and thinkers, the Tropical Innovation Festival is the place to be this June.
