Freelanes

Freelanes turns your phone into a reliable trip tracker and mileage logger — built for the way you actually drive. Whether you're a freelancer, contractor, gig driver, or owner-operator, Freelanes records your trips in the background and turns them into clean, professional PDF reports you can use for invoicing, mileage logs, or your own records. No subscription. No fees. WHY FREELANES • Automatic trip tracking — your route is captured reliably in the background, even when the app is closed. • Professional PDF reports — route, distance, stops, and any photos you snap, ready to share or file. • Built to stay on — multiple reliability layers keep tracking alive through dead zones, tunnels, and aggressive battery savers. • Private by design — your location history is deleted when your trip ends, photos stay on your device, and nothing is sold to advertisers or third parties. • Free — no ads, no subscriptions. FOR FREIGHT DRIVERS Hauling loads for a broker or carrier? Switch to Freight mode for the full workflow: • Real-time shipment tracking your broker can follow • Load board to find available freight • In-app messaging with your broker and carrier • Document upload (BOLs, receipts) and pick verification • Carrier pairing and shipment management ABOUT BACKGROUND LOCATION Freelanes collects location in the background — including when the app is closed — only while you're actively tracking a trip or shipment, so your route is recorded and, on a freight shipment, shared with your broker. You start and stop tracking yourself and can turn it off anytime. Available in English and Spanish.
