Full description
Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or Arabic by scrolling. Fluentish is a language learning app built like a feed: an endless scroll of tiny exercises, with flashcard-style spaced repetition underneath, that adapts to your level. Swap an hour of doomscrolling for real vocabulary. The app is in English, Spanish and French. Spanish and French speakers learn English. NO LONG LESSONS. JUST A FEED. There is no track to complete and no end screens. Exercises arrive continuously: match words, complete sentences, pick what you heard, read tiny stories. More than a dozen card types, mixed so it never feels like a worksheet. Answer by tapping, silent and one-handed, or with typing and speech practice on Plus. IT MEASURES, IT NEVER ASKS Fluentish times your answers. Fast and correct means you know the word; slow means it's shaky; wrong means not yet. Your vocabulary is tracked word by word, and difficulty adapts immediately, with no quiz asking what you already know. SPACED REPETITION, BUILT IN Words you've learned retire into a spaced repetition queue (FSRS) and resurface right before you'd forget them, like flashcards without maintaining a deck. Export your dictionary to CSV or Anki flashcards with Plus. A LESSONS TAB TO BROWSE, NOT A COURSE TO FINISH What sits behind the cards, in one place and free: the alphabet or sound system, grammar notes one idea at a time, conjugation and declension tables with a play button on every form, greetings and politeness formulas, and short true notes about the language itself. FIVE LANGUAGES FOR ENGLISH SPEAKERS • Spanish: vocabulary by frequency, listening practice, and Spanish conjugation tables with audio on every form. • French: vocabulary in context, and French verbs conjugated form by form. • German: vocabulary, conjugation tables, and German declension shown case by case. • Italian: vocabulary, verbs, and short stories once the words are yours. • Arabic: from the alphabet up, described below. LEARN ARABIC FROM ZERO Arabic is taught as Modern Standard Arabic across all ten levels, starting with the alphabet itself. Early cards carry the harakat, the short-vowel marks, and shed them as you climb, which is how real Arabic text works. Arabic is laid out right to left and set at a size it can actually be read at. FIND YOUR LEVEL IN 2 MINUTES A short placement test starts you at your real level, from beginner to advanced (levels 1–10). Beginners start with the 500 most useful words in the language; intermediate learners skip what they already know. FREE VS PLUS Free: unlimited scrolling, forever. No daily limit, no hearts. Free covers every level up to your placement level (minimum levels 1–3). Fluentish Plus: advance through all 10 levels, typing and speaking cards, dictionary export, streak repair, and a streak pause of up to 14 days. $7.99/month or $39.99/year with a 7-day free trial on annual. And if you break a streak without Plus, saving it once costs $0.99. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Speaking practice is graded from recognized text, never from audio: your recordings never reach Fluentish. Your phone does the recognizing, on device where it supports the language and otherwise through Google's own speech service, the same one behind your keyboard's dictation key. Fluentish has seven language pairs: Spanish, Italian, French, German and Arabic for English speakers, plus English for Spanish and French speakers. Each direction is its own course, generated and checked separately rather than mirrored from another language. The app interface is available in English, Spanish and French. More pairs are on the way; we'd rather do these properly than ship ten badly. Privacy policy: https://fluentish.co/privacy Terms: https://fluentish.co/terms Support: https://fluentish.co/support
