Playera: Grassroots Football

Playera is for the volunteer coaches and the parents of a grassroots football team. It was built by a dad who was hopeless at replying to group polls, had no idea how his son was really getting on through the season, and could see how much work the coaches were quietly putting in every week. There was nothing that did the job, so this got built. FOR PARENTS - Everything waiting on you in one place, answered in seconds - A reminder by email and in the app when a reply is due, never during quiet hours - Fixtures, training, kick off times, and where to be - A player card for your child, built from what they have actually done this season - Match reports written by their coach, shared when the coach chooses to share them - Photos and videos from matches and training, kept as an archive of the season FOR COACHES - Log goals, assists, substitutions and position changes while the game is going on - Squad, availability and who has replied, without chasing anybody - Automatic nudges chase the missing replies for you, at the reminder points you choose - Match reports drafted for you, never published until you say so - Player development: assessments, goals you set, and notes that stay private unless you share them - Subs, team funds and kit money - Live match updates for the parents who could not be there BUILT AROUND ONE RULE Development, not judgement. Nothing on a child's card counts something they did not do. Ratings are shown as words, never as a number out of a hundred. Parents never see anything a coach has kept private, and a coach decides what leaves their own screen. Playera is free for coaches and for parents.
