Full description
Silvora is encrypted cloud storage built on a simple promise: your files are yours, and no one else - not even us - can read them. WHY SILVORA IS DIFFERENT Most cloud storage apps encrypt your data "in transit and at rest," but the provider still holds the keys. That means they technically can read your files, whether or not they ever do. Silvora is built differently, using true zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption: • Your files are encrypted on your device before they ever leave it • Your encryption keys are derived from your password and recovery phrase - locally, on your device - and are never sent to our servers • We store only encrypted data we cannot decrypt, even if compelled to If our servers were ever breached, an attacker would find nothing but unreadable, encrypted data. There is no master key, no backdoor, and no way for us to access your files, because the system was built so that we mathematically can't. HOW IT WORKS Silvora uses industry-standard, audited cryptographic building blocks: • Argon2id for secure key derivation from your password • XChaCha20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption to protect your master key • A unique key hierarchy for every file and every file chunk, so no single key ever exposes more than it has to • A 24-word recovery phrase, generated on your device, that only you hold - this is the only way to recover access if you ever lose your password, because we have no way to reset it for you FEATURES • Secure, chunked file uploads - reliable even on unstable connections, with resumable transfers • End-to-end encrypted storage for any file type • Simple, clean interface - security without complexity • Cross-platform support WHO SILVORA IS FOR If you've ever hesitated before uploading something sensitive to the cloud - financial documents, personal photos, business files, anything you'd rather no one else ever see - Silvora was built for exactly that hesitation. It's for anyone who wants real privacy, not just a privacy policy. A NOTE ON RESPONSIBILITY Because Silvora cannot read or recover your data, your 24-word recovery phrase is the only backup to your password. Please store it somewhere safe - if both are lost, your files cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. This is the tradeoff of true zero-knowledge security: total privacy means total responsibility stays with you. Silvora is built and maintained by a solo developer focused on getting the cryptography right, not on growth at the expense of your privacy. No ads. No data mining. No compromise on the one thing that matters: your files are actually private.

What's new
