Smart Rentals turns the sensors installed in your short-term rental into one clear picture of what is happening there — without putting a camera or a microphone in someone else's bedroom. WHAT YOU SEE • Occupancy — how many people are inside, counted at the door. • Noise level — measured in decibels, so a party shows up before the neighbours call. • Check-in and check-out — when the door actually opened and closed. • Water leaks — a wet-floor detector under the sink or beside the washer. • Power — whether the socket is delivering, and whether the property lost mains. • Ambient temperature, and the battery level of the devices that run on one, so a sensor never goes quiet unnoticed. Each sensor has its own history: last hour, day, week or month, with the readings exported to CSV whenever you need them. ALERTS THAT REACH YOU Set the threshold that matters to you — a noise ceiling, a maximum number of guests, minutes with the door left open, a night-time window when nobody should be coming in — and choose how you want to hear about it: push notification, email, Telegram, or all three. Leaks, power cuts and tampering raise themselves; they need no configuration. YOUR WEEK, WRITTEN UP Once a week the app writes a short report on the property: how busy it was, when the noisy hours fell, how the week compares with the ones before it, and anything worth a second look. It reads like a note from someone who was paying attention, not like a dashboard. The figures in it are calculated by our own code — averages, occupied hours, door openings. A language model is used only to put them into sentences: it does not decide what happened and never sees the raw readings. What reaches it is the week's aggregated numbers and the names you chose for the property and its sensors. No names, no emails, no phone numbers, nothing that identifies a person. You can turn the report off whenever you like. BUILT FOR SEVERAL PROPERTIES Switch between properties from the top of the screen. Each one keeps its own sensors, its own thresholds and its own local time, so an alert timestamp always reads in the time zone of the property it came from — not yours. PRIVACY BY DESIGN, NOT BY PROMISE There are no cameras and no microphones. The noise sensor reports a level in decibels; it does not record sound, so there is nothing to leak and nothing to subpoena. Readings that could reveal presence are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Properties are identified by a name you choose, never by their street address. SECURITY Two-factor authentication is mandatory for every account. Re-opening the app asks for your fingerprint or face, verified by the phone itself. Sensitive fields are encrypted in the database, and every client's data is isolated by the database engine, not merely by application code. Sensitive actions are recorded in a tamper-evident log. Available in English and Spanish, with alerts delivered in the language you choose. REQUIREMENTS This app is the companion to an IT-Cloud monitoring service. It needs LoRaWAN sensors installed at the property and an account created by IT-Cloud — there is no sign-up inside the app, and it will not show data without that service.
