The Well app puts your health in your own hands: day or night, no matter where you are. It is your reliable companion throughout the course of medical treatment, providing you with self-determined and secure digital access to health care services and your personal records. In making all this available to you, the Well app has for the first time brought together doctors, pharmacists and health insurers on a single platform. How can the app help you? You can use it to... - check symptoms and obtain a recommendation (Symptom Checker – a medical device, see note below) - chat with a physician - schedule tele-medical appointments - obtain and fill e-prescriptions - download and save medical documents directly to the app - search for doctors in a specific location - learn about doctor-approved home remedies - receive reliable drug recommendations - take advantage of preventive treatment recommendations - obtain medically approved information on illnesses - make use of secure document storage - schedule influenza vaccine appointments - ... and more! Note on the Symptom Checker The "check symptoms and obtain a recommendation" feature is based on the Symptom Checker, a CE-marked medical device. It provides an initial assessment of symptoms and a recommendation for the next treatment steps. Note on health information Other content in the Well app – such as the preventive care recommendations, the vaccination check or the Smart Assistant – is intended for general information purposes only. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you need a personal assessment, you can use the Well app to book a doctor's appointment or speak directly with a physician – for example via Doctor Chat or a telemedicine consultation. In an emergency or if you have acute symptoms, contact a doctor immediately or call the emergency number 144. Well is a joint project involving Swiss partners from a variety of health care sectors: CSS, Medi24, Visana, DocMorris, Galenica and Swiss Medical Network.
