NIBU – Screen Pet & Companion

Your phone has a tenant. NIBU is a tiny pet that lives on top of your apps. It strolls along the bottom edge, climbs the sides, hangs from the status bar and naps in a corner. You don't have to do anything. It's just there, and every now and then something happens. A HOUSEMATE, NOT A GAME • Tap it, pet it, pick it up and throw it: your Nibu reacts to you • It yawns, sneezes, gets the hiccups, trips and dreams • It finds things and brings them to you: berries, shiny pebbles, sometimes a single sock • While charging it warms up on the battery; with music on it wears headphones • At night it gets sleepy and dozes off, upside down from the status bar if you like • Rare little moments you might only see once IT GROWS WITH YOU • Three stages: Moss becomes Mossling, then Mosskin • Collect egg fragments and hatch Nimbus for free, a little cloud that drizzles when it sulks • Every Nibu has its own personality: curious, sleepy or cheeky • Collect achievements, moments and outfits • A daily gift, treats and hats for your Nibu IT STAYS OUT OF THE WAY • Small, with adjustable size and transparency • Choose where it roams: everywhere, bottom only or top only (away from the keyboard and navigation bar) • Hides during calls and, if you want, in apps you pick and in landscape • Quiet hours: it sleeps at night or disappears completely • Pause it for 30 minutes or an hour with one tap LIGHT AND PRIVATE • Works offline. No account, no sign-up • No ads and no subscription • Anonymous usage data only if you agree. NIBU never reads your screen, messages or keyboard • Sleeps as soon as the screen is off and uses next to no battery then FAIR Your first Nibu, feeding, playing and every evolution stage stay free forever. If you like, the shop has one-time extras: • Ember, a tiny dragon that sneezes sparks • Miu, a little cat made of night sky with stars in its fur: it grooms its paws, pounces at nothing and naps wherever it likes • "Two on screen": two Nibus that greet each other, play tag and nap side by side • Outfit packs and a supporter pack A virtual pet like a desktop pet (Shimeji), made for your phone: a screen pet that lives with you. Note: NIBU needs the "Display over other apps" permission so your Nibu can live on your screen. The app explains why before asking.
