Charge Planner

Charge Planner is a user-friendly app designed to assist electric vehicle (EV) owners in estimating the time required to charge their vehicles. By inputting the battery capacity, current charge level, and charging power at the station, users can easily plan their charging sessions. The charging time calculation in Charge Planner follows a linear progression up to 80% of the battery capacity, utilizing the specified charging power. This means that the charging time during this initial phase is directly proportional to the charging power. For the remaining 20% of the battery capacity, the charging time is calculated using a quarter of the specified charging power. This reduction in charging speed reflects the fact that EV batteries typically charge slower as they approach their full capacity. It's important to note that this charging time calculation method provides an approximate estimate. Actual charging times may vary due to various factors, including the specific characteristics of the vehicle's battery and charging system. Charge Planner aims to simplify the charging process by providing users with a rough estimate, allowing them to plan their charging needs accordingly. However, please bear in mind that unforeseen circumstances and variables, such as temperature, battery health, and charging infrastructure limitations, can impact the actual charging time. Stay informed about estimated charging times and make informed decisions about your EV charging routine with Charge Planner.
