Smart CCE

The OMDC CCE App is a smart tool for assessing crop yield and insurance claims. It uses advanced features such as: • Real-Time Data Collection: The app takes live pictures and videos of the crops and farms, ensuring the data is accurate and up-to-date. • Geo-Tagging and Location Verification: The app tracks the farms' exact location using GPS, ensuring that the data matches the insured area. • Remote Sensing: The app uses satellite imagery to collect objective information about the crops and farms, reducing the chances of false or exaggerated claims. • Historical Crop Growth: The app compares the current crop conditions with historical data, using indices based on past crop patterns. This helps to detect any anomalies or fraud in claim filing. • Correct Location: The app identifies the land or survey number of the farms using cadastral mapping, preventing any misrepresentation of land details or ownership. • Comprehensive Data Capturing: The app gathers all the relevant information about the farms, farmers, and Crop Cutting Experiments (CCEs), which are methods to estimate crop yield by sampling and analysing a portion of the crops. The OMDC CCE App is designed to provide a reliable and efficient way of risk assessment for crop insurance. It helps to avoid losses from fraudulent activities and maintain the trust of valued customers.
