Ο διαδραστικός χάρτης του saloni.ca με 7000+ παλιές φωτογραφίες της Θεσσαλονίκης σε 4000+ γεωεντοπισμένα σημεία αποτελεί ένα εργαλείο τεκμηρίωσης της ιστορικής τοπογραφίας της Θεσσαλονίκης. Η εφαρμογή φέρνει όλη αυτήν την πληροφορία στο χέρι σας και σας δίνει την δυνατότητα να περπατήσετε στην πόλη και να δείτε τις εικόνες «πίσω στον χρόνο» από αυτό που βλέπουν τα μάτια σας, πώς ήταν η πόλη παλιότερα ακριβώς στο σημείο που στέκεστε αλλά και την δυνατότητα να διαβάσετε την ιστορία που σχετίζεται με το σημείο. Μπορείτε να περιηγηθείτε στη Θεσσαλονίκη μέσα από διαφορετικές χρονικές περιόδους — από τα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα, δηλαδή πριν την πυρκαγιά του 1917, έως τη μεταπολεμική εποχή αλλά και να φιλτράρετε τα σημεία ανά περίοδο και να ενεργοποιήσετε ιστορικούς χάρτες, όπως εκείνον του 1919.
