PlayServe

PlayServe helps tennis and pickleball players in Calgary and Edmonton find people to play with, pick a court, and confirm a time — without the group-chat chaos. FIND A GAME • Send a Serve: pick a player, choose a court and suggest up to three times. They accept one, suggest another time, or decline. • Play Now: post when and where you're free, and PlayServe helps connect you with nearby players based on your game preferences and travel range. • Every confirmed game gets a Match page holding the time, court and players — with a Messages thread for the people in that game once the game is confirmed. PLAY GROUPS • Join or start a Play Group for your community, club or regular crew. • Schedule group games, vote on times with polls, and fill open spots. • Group Updates: organizers post announcements; members react or tap Interested, so organizers can turn interest into a scheduled game. COURTS • Browse public courts across Calgary and Edmonton with community, access and booking details, plus player ratings for surface and lighting. • Optional: allow location to sort courts and players by distance. Your exact location is never shared with other players. PLAYERS & FRIENDS • Profiles with sport, skill level, community and availability. • Add friends, keep your play circle close, and block or report anyone who breaks the community guidelines. COACHES • Browse local coaches and request a lesson from coaches who accept requests. Coaching tools live in a separate web portal. NOTIFICATIONS • Optional push alerts for serves and match changes, game messages, Play Group activity, lessons and reminders. • Choose what reaches you by push or email, by category, under Me → Notifications. Your Activity feed keeps your invites, matches and updates in one place. PlayServe is for adults 18+. Free to use. No ads, no in-app purchases.
