Full description

Dog Park Now is Canada's first real-time, community-powered dog park check-in app — built for Halifax dog owners who are tired of showing up to a park that's too crowded, too empty, or just not right for their dog. Know Before You Go Before you leave home, open Dog Park Now and see live activity across all 50 Halifax Regional Municipality off-leash parks on an interactive colour-coded map. Green means quiet. Red means busy. Every check-in from the Dog Park Now community updates the map in real time — so you always know what's waiting before you load your dog in the car. How It Works • Open the app and view the live park map • See real-time busyness at all 50 HRM off-leash parks • Check in when you arrive and contribute to the community data • Earn Paw Points, badges, and climb the leaderboard • Discover local pet businesses in the Paw Partners directory Paw Points & Gamification Every check-in earns you Paw Points. Level up through 5 Dog Tag tiers, unlock 40+ badges, build check-in streaks, and see how you rank on the Halifax leaderboard. The more you check in, the better the data gets for every dog owner in the city. Paw Partners Directory Find trusted local pet businesses right inside the app — groomers, veterinary clinics, dog trainers, walkers, daycares, boarding facilities, pet supply stores, and more. Halifax's best pet businesses, all in one place. Premium Features Upgrade to Dog Park Now Premium for AI-powered park forecasting, playdate scheduling, unlimited dog profiles, priority alerts, and an ad-free experience. Privacy First Check-ins are fully anonymized. We never sell your personal data. Dog Park Now is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy and your community. Currently serving all 50 HRM off-leash parks — with Atlantic Canada expansion coming in 2027. Built in Halifax. Inspired by Peanut.
