PedCare é um aplicativo desenvolvido para a promoção de cuidados com os pés de pessoas com diabetes mellitus e pé em risco. Trata-se de um produto criado por um Enfermeiro Estomaterapeuta integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa em Epidemiologia, Cuidado em Cronicidades e Enfermagem por meio de sua de Tese de Doutorado em Cuidados Clínicos em Enfermagem e Saúde da Universidade Estadual do Ceará. O aplicativo foi testado e validado por especialistas na área, usuários e sua eficácia clínica foi comprovada para a promoção de cuidados com os pés e conhecimento de medidas preventivas para prevenção do pé diabético. Apresenta recursos como: ✅ alarme diário de cuidados com os pés; ✅ alarme de estratificação de risco; ✅dicas de cuidados diários; ✅ hábitos de pés saudáveis; ✅ corte de unhas; ✅ uso de sapatos; ✅ sinais e sintomas de complicações; ✅exercícios para melhorar a circulação do pé e ✅ quiz.
