Full description

Cooking eggs to perfection has never been easier. Yolk is the ultimate scientific boiled egg timer that calculates the exact cooking time for your eggs using thermal transfer science. Unlike a generic kitchen timer, Yolk adjusts timing based on the variables that actually determine egg doneness: egg size, starting temperature (refrigerated or room temperature), and your current altitude. With Yolk - Egg Timer, you can customize: • Egg Size: Medium, Large, Extra Large, or Jumbo • Starting Temperature: Chilled (from fridge) or room temperature • Altitude Adjustment: Manual elevation entry for accurate boiling times anywhere • Doneness Level: Soft boiled, creamy yolk, medium cooked, or hard boiled egg Tailored Doneness Levels for Any Recipe: - Soft Boiled Egg: Runny yolk, perfect for dipping toast soldiers at breakfast. - Creamy Yolk: Jammy center, ideal for ramen bowls, sandwiches, and salads. - Medium Cooked: Balanced firmness with a smooth, rich texture. - Hard Boiled Egg: Fully set yolk for meal prep and salad recipes, with no green ring. Key Features: • Scientific boiled egg timer and boiling time calculator • Altitude-based cooking adjustment for precise timing • 4 egg doneness presets (from soft yolk to hard boiled) • Cooking history tracker with total eggs prepared and stats • 8 custom kitchen timer alarm sounds • Sleek dark mode interface • Works 100% offline in any kitchen Stop guessing how long to boil an egg.
