Full description
Share photos without revealing more than you intend. Blur Photos: Censor Faces is a focused photo privacy editor that automatically detects faces and vehicle license plates, then helps you hide them before posting, sending, or saving an image. Choose a pixelated blur for a familiar mosaic censor effect, or use a solid black box for clear redaction. Detection and editing run on your device, so your selected photo is not uploaded to a server for processing. AUTOMATIC FACE AND LICENSE PLATE DETECTION Select a photo and choose what you want the app to find: • Faces • License plates • Faces and license plates together Tap Detect & Redact, and the app scans the photo automatically. Detected areas are covered immediately, giving you a clear preview before you save or share the result. BLUR, PIXELATE, OR BLACK OUT DETAILS Choose the censor style that suits your photo: • Pixelated blur creates a strong mosaic-style face blur • Solid black boxes provide simple, unmistakable redaction • Adjustable coverage enlarges detected areas by up to 50% The coverage control helps the censor effect extend beyond the automatically detected face or license plate. CONTROL INDIVIDUAL FACES Not every person in a photo needs to be hidden. After detection, tap an individual face to leave it visible while other detected faces remain censored. Want something more playful? Long-press a detected face and replace its redaction with an emoji. Choose from ten emoji covers for family pictures, group photos, and social posts where a black box feels too serious. A SIMPLE PHOTO-CENSORING WORKFLOW 1. Choose an image from your device. 2. Select face detection, license plate detection, or both. 3. Pick pixelated blur or black-box mode. 4. Run automatic detection and review the preview. 5. Adjust the coverage or customize individual faces. 6. Save a new censored image or share it directly. There are no complicated editing timelines or crowded toolbars. Blur Photos is designed around one clear task: helping you censor faces and vehicle license plates before sharing a photo. USE BLUR PHOTOS FOR • Hiding faces in family and group photos • Protecting children and relatives before posting online • Anonymizing bystanders in street, travel, or event photography • Censoring customer or employee faces in work photos • Blurring license plates in vehicle photos • Hiding license plates in car-sale and marketplace listings • Preparing privacy-conscious photos for social media • Covering selected faces with emojis • Creating redacted copies for messages, email, or other apps ON-DEVICE PHOTO PRIVACY Face detection, license plate detection, and image editing happen locally on your phone. Your selected photo does not need to be uploaded for detection or redaction. No account, profile, or sign-in is required. SAVE AT THE ORIGINAL IMAGE DIMENSIONS When you export, the app applies the detected censor areas at the source image's original dimensions. The result is saved as a new JPEG in Pictures/BlurredPhotos, leaving your selected photo unchanged. You can also send the finished image through Android's share sheet to messaging, social media, email, or other compatible apps. BUILT FOR QUICK, EVERYDAY REDACTION Blur Photos combines automatic face blur, license plate blur, black-box censoring, selective face control, emoji covers, and on-device processing in one direct workflow. It is made for anyone who wants to hide identities or vehicle details without learning to use a full photo editor. Always review the automatic detections before saving or sharing. Choose a photo, detect faces and license plates, customize the result, and create a share-ready censored copy with Blur Photos: Censor Faces.
